The PC`s are introduced to Rosalina Da Costa a Brazilian civil servant on her way to Paulo .
She explains that she has received several disturbing letters from relatives living in an isolated settlement.
One of the hazards of living on Paulo is a native predator called Gattinho da seva. These animals run in small packs and occasionally prey on terran livestock even-thought they do not receive any sustenance from them do to incompatible biology .

Her relatives village have been having problems with what they call Super Gattinho . Usually settlements are keep cleared of these pest by professional hunters but the Supers have thus far resisted all who tried  to eliminate them. The local militia/police can't or won't deal with the problem . So she needs outsiders to deal with the matter.

She has limited funds but as an official in the colonial bureau has access to other resources
on which to draw upon to compensate the players for their services .

She offers 1000Lv up front plus transportation to and from Paulo ( the return ticket can be expanded
all the way back to the core or any world on route ) on a government transport . She can also offer
weapons and some gear which the players can retain afterwards . Each will receive a Luce 7B laser rifle with 10 power cells, a non-rigid vest and a combat harness with compass, knife , machete , medkit , canteen  and four dual clip pouch ( all Brazilian army issues ) . As a group she will provide a set of Farseer , two large life form detectors, 3 hand communicators along with some basic camping gear and rations . She will also arrange for the use of one or two range truck (depending on group size) while on planet. If press she can not add more cash but can provide a second round trip on Brazilian shipping ( note both vouchers include up and down transit at any Brazilian facility , if the players get off at a non-Brazilian world or terminal this will be at their own cost ) .

Facts:

On a roll of 1-2 : There is no Super Gattinho , the reason for the animal resilience is a new meat packing plant that just opened and whose waste scent is attracting Gattinho in large numbers .

On a roll of 3-6: The Super Gattinho are actually cyber-enhance local wild life . these are meant
to protect and keep locals away from a secret Provolution research facility / factory. The local
militia commander has been paid off to look the other way and has become a Provolution
sympathizer .
